Visit to Men’s Shed Methil

Thanks to a grant for the Scottish Men’s Shed Association, we were able to organise a trip to the Men’s Shed Bayview, in Methil, Fife.

We’d like to say a huge thanks to the Men in the Bayview Shed for their fantastic welcome and hospitality. We were fed, watered and entertained royally.

THANK YOU GUYS!!!

The Bayview Shed is associated with East Fife football club so we were able to use the wonderful facilities there.

Here’s some photos of what was a hugely enjoyable day out.

The East Fife board room

Most of the Men remember the days when you headed a wet ball and it felt like you had been hit by Joe Frazier.

Dougie, Bobby, Tam & co oot for a fag break with Allan.

Fabulous plant swing made by the Bayview Men.

A couple of the Bayview guys. One obviously much younger and using one of those weird hand gestures that mean something …. but not to anyone over 50 :-)

The guys hanging out … we think that’s the best photo of Tam ever ( the back of his heid).

The view of the stadium from the director’s box where we were treated to a fantastic buffet lunch.

The Men hanging out together. Frank, Gerry and Allan in the frame and Gordon doing his zombie impersonation.

John, Roddy and one of the Bayview guys.

Rumour has it that the Govan Shed is not a hotbed of global football talent. Roddy and John try Golf Football.
