Men’s Shed Govan opened its door officially on the 1st September 2018. Ricky Bell councillor for Govan, cut the ribbon for us, and there was live music from the Carlton Jug Band, tea and coffee, cake stall, tombola stall, soaps and perfumes stall, vegetable stall and a raffle. The turn out was excellent despite the rainy day, and we raised funds and announced that a grant had been obtained from Govan Area Partnership for central heating, which was welcomed by the members.
