Men’s Shed Govan is organising another free, live, online discussion with a Scottish crime author exclusively for Shedders in Scotland!
Following two great talks by Chris Brookmyre and Craig Robertson, we have another leading Scottish crime fiction author – Michael J Malone. The feedback for the first two events has been overwhemingly positive. Michael was recommended by Chris Brookmyre which suggests that he’s going to be very entertaining too
His 2012 debut full length novel was Blood Tears, which was awarded the Pitlochry Prize by the Association of Scottish Writers. His 2016 novel A Suitable Lie went on to become a #1 bestseller. He is particularly famous for writing the DI Ray McBain trilogy series. Michael was born and raised in the heart of Burns’ country which may explain why he is the author of over 200 published poems & two poetry collections. He has also published six novels, countless articles and one work of non-fiction. When he's not putting his characters through the wringer he currently works as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. All of which which makes you wonder where he gets the time to do events like ours. He is a regular speaker and chair at book festivals throughout the UK– including Aye Write, Bloody Scotland, Crimefest and Wigtown
This event will take place on Wednesday 14th July 2021 at 7 till 8pm on Zoom and is FREE TO ATTEND.
